The pinasse is a traditional and iconic boat from the Arcachon Bay, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Dating back to the 18th century, it was originally used by local sailors to navigate the shallow waters of the bay. With its wooden hull and elongated, graceful shape, the pinasse stands out with its harmoniously arranged open spaces, separated by a charming little cabin, and its exceptional maneuverability.
