Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 2026

1. Service Provider

Dolce Vita offers private boat cruises on the Seine in Paris, France. The service is operated by Filver SAS.

These terms are shown before payment; by booking, you accept them. They prevail over any purchase conditions of the customer. Bookings are made by an adult (18 or over).

If you do not follow these terms or the safety instructions, you are responsible, as provided by law, for the damage this causes. This does not limit our own legal liability.

2. Our Commitment

We do everything we can to make your cruise run as booked.

3. Booking and Payment

Your online booking is firm as soon as the card pre-authorisation is accepted. The full amount is temporarily held on your card, then usually charged within a day. If we cannot provide the service booked (boat or crew unavailable), we offer you an alternative, subject to your agreement. Without agreement, the booking is cancelled at no cost: we cancel the pre-authorisation or refund in full any amount charged, without prejudice to your statutory rights, including compensation.

The cruise is paid in full before departure. Payment is by card or by bank transfer.

Extras requested on board, such as extra time, are paid at the end of the cruise. After payment, you receive a confirmation email, and before the cruise, your captain's contact details.

4. Pricing

Prices include VAT. On the Felicità, La Pinasse and Curaçao, the price covers 4 guests, and each extra guest costs €100. Optional extras are priced separately and shown during booking.

5. Cancellation by Customer

Up to 48 hours before the cruise, you can change your date free of charge or cancel for a refund.

Within 48 hours of departure, no refund is given.

When a refund is made at your request, only the payment processing fees actually charged by our payment provider on that payment are deducted, with no mark-up; details are available on request. If your card was only held and never charged, the hold is released at no cost.

If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the booked departure time and the boat cannot wait, we may cancel the cruise without refund. When possible, we shorten it instead.

6. Food and Drinks

Food and drinks you order become non-refundable 72 hours before the cruise for food and 48 hours before for drinks, as our suppliers have already prepared them.

7. Operator Cancellation and Weather Guarantee

If we cancel for heavy rain or unsafe conditions on the Seine, choose a free reschedule or a 100% refund of your cruise.

The same applies if we cancel because the Seine is closed to navigation, after damage or a breakdown on the boat, or during a strike.

We may also cancel a booking that has not been paid.

For safety reasons, we may offer you a change of boat or route at no extra cost. We tell you as soon as possible, and you can refuse and get a full refund.

If we cancel, including under our weather guarantee, you get a full refund with nothing deducted, unless you accept a new date. Your legal rights to compensation are not affected.

8. Timing and Late Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. Your cruise starts at the booked time.

If you arrive late, the cruise may be shortened by the time lost. If you wish and the boat is free, we can extend it instead, and the extra time is charged at the published rate. After 30 minutes, section 5 applies.

9. Safety

From boarding, guests must follow the captain's and crew's instructions at all times. The captain may refuse boarding to anyone visibly intoxicated.

Dangerous items and animals are not allowed on board.

If safety instructions are not followed, the captain may refuse boarding, ask a guest to leave the boat at a safe place, or interrupt the cruise.

Keep one hand free when moving around the boat during the cruise.

10. Minors and Alcohol

Minors cannot book. A booking for minors is made by a parent or legal guardian. Children must be accompanied at all times, in every area of the boat, by at least one parent or a designated adult who takes full responsibility for them, including when boarding and leaving the boat.

In line with French law, no alcohol is sold or offered to anyone under 18.

11. Accessibility

Not every area of our boats is accessible to guests with disabilities or reduced mobility, and our boats are not specially equipped for them. These bookings are accepted case by case, depending on the boat and, where needed, with a companion who can help throughout the cruise, in line with Regulation (EU) No 1177/2010 on passenger rights for travel by sea and inland waterway. Please contact us before booking.

12. On Board

Stiletto heels are not allowed on board, to protect the wooden decks.

On boats with toilets, please use only the paper provided and put nothing else in them.

Cushions lost overboard or damaged are charged to the customer at the end of the cruise.

13. Liability

Filver SAS is insured for passenger liability, and our liability follows the applicable law.

Personal belongings remain in the care and under the responsibility of their owners throughout the cruise. We are liable for their loss, theft or damage, including items that fall into the water, only where we or our crew are at fault, as provided by law.

Items left on board are kept for 30 days and returned on request. Collection is free; we can also send them at your expense.

Damage caused on board by a guest may be charged to them, with supporting evidence.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Paris.
